When we initiated the connectHUB idea in 2016 just after a cocktail entrepreneurs meet up event called "CONNECTWAFFI, we wanted to build more than beautiful, shared office spaces. We wanted to build a community. A place you join as an individual, 'me', but where you become part of a greater 'we'. A place where we're redefining success measured by personal fulfillment, not just the bottom line. Community is our catalyst.

-FOUNDER (JEFFERY ODUMA)

OUR MISSION

To create a world where people work to make a life, not just a living.

WHO WE ARE

We are a co-working and events space for a community of people from different professions and backgrounds who are taking action to drive positive social and environmental change. They may be entrepreneurs, techies, creatives, students, professionals and many more-- anyone making a solution for a better world.

Through the Hub, we help members consider the social and environmental impact of their business practices, while also pushing nonprofits to become self-sustaining through collaboration and more efficient business models.

Our Hub is a shared workspace, which is specifically designed to promote collaboration and innovation. It is development space and launch pad for those who wish to make a change, providing members with tools to accelerate their success. In particular, it provides social innovators with all the tools and trimmings needed to grow and develop new ventures; it is a place to access experience, knowledge, finance and markets and it a place for making connection.

Part innovation lab, part business incubator, and part community centre, we offer members a unique ecosystem of resources, inspiration, and collaboration opportunities to grow. We look to help people connect with, learn from and help each other to realise their ideas.

The Hub offers members access to 350 square meters of creative space to work, meet, learn, collaborate and play. We combine the best of a cafe, innovation lab, business accelerator, serviced office and community centre to create a place for meaningful encounters, productive work sessions and inspiration.

Membership gives you a professional office right in the centre of Warri. Members benefit from flexible access to our serviced coworking space and lively coworking community; active hosting of relationships and information sharing; and access to a broad programme of free community building events - all designed to help develop your social and intellectual capital.

INSPIRED

We inspire & motivate individuals in our community to reach their maximum potentials.

ENTREPRENEURIAL

We are creators, leaders, and self-starters. We try new things, we challenge convention, and we're not afraid to push beyond-limits to succeed.

AUTHENTIC

We are commited to our brand, mission, and values. We are genuine & continue to work towards a better brand to uphold our brand and values. We do not compromise on honesty & transparency.

TENACIOUS

We never settle. We get things done and we get it done well. Be persistent and knock down walls- literally if you have to. You have our permission.

GRATEFUL

We are grateful for each other, our members, and to be part of this movement. We don't take success for granted. We're happy to be alive.

TOGETHER

We are in this together. This is a team effort. We always look out for one another. We have empathy, we know we're all-human, and know we can't do any of this alone.

OUR BELIEFS

Honest relationships are crucial to meaningful collaboration, and social change. A sharing, cooperative, resilient economy is viable and pragmatic. Diversity is critical to good decisions. A living wage, affordable housing, and health care access are basic rights. Income inequality is growing and this matters. Homelessness is not acceptable. Climate change and ecological degradation are kind of a big deal. Inclusion of Indigenous Peoples’ cultures and traditional wisdom must be recognized as a primary indicator of community health.

We collectively possess the means to
overcome our greatest challenges.
